The Withings Blood Pressure Monitor is a tool used in combination with an Apple iPhone app. A physical pad wraps around the arm and connects to an iPhone with a wire, where detailed information on blood pressure and pulse are read and recorded.

The information is stored on the phone for later reference, and can be uploaded securely to a privately secured website in order to look at graphs showing trends over time. The information can also be published automatically to Twitter. Once the data is gathered, it can be compared to benchmark values for an overall sense of how healthy the user is. The system is powered by 4 AAA batteries.
