The Cons:Misses some more recent spyware. Scan is excruciatingly slow. Browser immunization causes a MAJOR slow-down of browser functions.
Spybot Search & Destroy is one of the higher rated spyware/malware/script protections available. The software is free (they ask for donations) for personal use and offers very good detection, removal and protection from spyware.
