Safari (iPhone app)

Released June, 2007

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Excellent rendering engine. Works well with iPhone optimized CSS libraries - Web apps that feel like native apps. Free.

The Cons:Not very customizable. Crappy attempt at tabbed browsing - slow transition, only 8 tabs at a time. Slow.

Safari is the default, included web browser on the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch. It features many of the same features as the desktop version, including the same rendering engine. There is no Adobe Flash support, however.
