Route 66 Maps + Navigation

Route 66 Maps + Navigation is a navigation app for the Android phone operating system. Route 66 collaborated with TomTom maps to create a navigation augmented reality on the phone. The idea behind the app is taht the user mounts his/her phone on the windshield, and the the app generates an augmented reality using the phone's camera, in which a virtual car drives the same route you are navigating, and its turn signal lights let you know when to turn right or left.

This augmented reality mode is called "Follow Me." Maps + Navigation also features voice directions, regular TomTom maps, and voice control. The app can be purchased in the Android Marketplace.
