Navdroyd
$6.00
Released January, 2010
The Pros:Pedestrian and car routing modes. Really cheap at $6.50. Map updates are free, frequent, and global (OpenStreetMap).
The Cons:Maps load slowly on T-Mobile G1, despite locally resident on SD card. Address search feature is practically broken. Quirky user interface.
Navdryod is an offline navigation package for Android phones that uses the free OpenStreetMaps. For this reason, the price of the app is very low ($6.49), and map updates are global, frequent, and free.
