Firefox 6's advertised faster startup times depend on a number of factors, particularly the number of tabs set to open on startup, but on the whole, start times should be faster than in version 5 although some reviewers point to benchmarks that state otherwise. Its domain name emphasis, a feature previously present in competing browsers, allows users to more easily tell at a glance the authenticity of a website or modify the URL. Meanwhile, Firefox 6's bolstered security allows users to configure the permissions of any website by typing "about:permissions" into the address bar, allowing them to easily configure cookies, location sharing, pop-ups, passwords and data storage.
