The Pros:Uses the highly competent KHTML rendering engine. Free and open source. Under active development.
The Cons:Sometimes slow. Not stand alone, built into KDE.

Much like Explorer/Internet Explorer, Konqueror can also be used as a fully featured file manager. Highly customizable through panels and keyboard shortcuts, Konqueror includes several high-level browser features such as customizable search keywords, tabs and a fast, standards compliant engine - which was used in 2002 as a base to create Apple's open source webkit browser engine which now powers multiple browsers such as Apple's Safari and Google's Chrome.
