iGO My Way

iGO My Way is a GPS navigation app for the iPhone 3G or 3GS. This application utilizes the GPS positioning system built into the iPhone and is capable of giving users turn-by-turn directions throughout North America.

iGO My Way works in both landscape and portrait mode, and will read aloud driving directions as you go. While this app lacks text-to-speech for the reading of street names and numbers, it will be available in a future update according to the developer. Both 2D and 3D maps can be displayed, along additional 3D visualizations of major landmarks and terrain (hills, valleys, mountains etc.) in order to assist with the navigation process. Other notable features include large icons for optimized in-car use and free quarterly map updates. iGO My Way uses battery power rather quickly, so it is generally recommended to use an in-car charger as well. iGO My Way is a 970 MB download, and can be purchased for $79.99 through the iTunes Store.
