During game play, players are required to protect a star base while waves of aliens called "Creeps" attempt to invade your territory. GeoDefence falls into the category of easy to learn, but hard to master type of game play. For less experienced players, the game features in-game tutorial screens that show the user how to play. If players are interrupted by a phone call or hit the Home button while playing geoDefence, the game will automatically be saved for continuation at a later time.
