Flight Control

$1.00 Released April, 2009

Product Shot 1 The Pros:Good visual feedback on all in game happenings (when an acceptable flightpath is entered, when planes are approaching from off of the screen, when planes are in danger of colliding). Casual game play - a good distraction for anyone including those new to the game / iPhone games in general. Only $0.99.

The Cons:Not free. Frustrating, raises blood pressure. Pretty boring.

Flight Control is a simple time management game for the iPhone & iPod touch platform. Flight Control features an easy pick-up-and-play concept with increasing difficulty as the game progresses. The game requires the player to route incoming airplanes to their designated landing strips.

The jetliners and prop planes have unique runways, while helicopters must be directed towards helipads in order for the aircraft to be landed successfully. Airspeeds vary for each aircraft type, ranging from slow for the helicopters to fast for the jetliners. To land a plane, players simply swipe their finger from the aircraft to the runway. Players must make sure onscreen aircraft do not collide, so gauging speed and a good sense of timing is essential. Flight Control includes 4 airfields and 10 aircraft types. Multiplayer is also supported via WiFi hotspot or Bluetooth. Flight Control can be purchased for $0.99 through the iTunes Store.
