ALK CoPilot Live
$50.00
Released May, 2009
The Pros:Low price for a full-featured navigation package. Doesn't require network coverage or data plan. Update for Android 2.2 (Froyo) already in the works and release impending.
The Cons:Lengthy install process - downloads 2GB+. Biking, walking, and RVing directions in addition to the standard auto nav. Voice directions are occasionally so laggy that you'll miss your exit.
ALK's CoPilot Live is an offline navigation package for Android. It enables the user to use voice-guided directions and maps with the integrated GPS sensor globally, without requiring data network coverage or a data plan (unlike Google's Map Navigation).
